Kloe!

Well it's been about 3 weeks since Kloe was born but i just barely got internet at my new house so thats why its taken so long for me to update our blog. Well Kloe was born on July 28 at 11:14 PM and she was 8.00 lbs and 19 1/2 in. The road to her delivery was kind of rough for a while. i was in back labor with her for pretty close to 24 hours and i was dialated to a 5+ but i didnt progress at all until my water broke, then things went by pretty fast! Though it took about 4 hours, it seemed like only an hour to me. You would think going unmedicated would make labor seem longer! but i had some good support. Vince was really good with me while i was in labor. But now Kloe is finally here with us and it is alot of fun. ALOT of work but alot of fun. She is so darn cute and we are forever greatful for her in our lives.

37 Week Appointment

I just got back from my 37 week appointment and i was surprised by the news my doctor gave me. It turns out that i'm dialated to a 3 and i'm about 50% effaced. My doctor also informed me that she is going to be gone this weekend! So she made it very clear that she doesn't want me to try to go into labor towards the end of the week, but she said i could try at the first of the week! so who knows, maybe i'll come home with a baby this week. I'm not quite sure if I'm really ready for her to come so soon, so i'm hoping next week sometime.

Baby Shower

On Saturday my sisters and my mom threw me a baby shower and it was so great. Everyone gave Kloe the cutest gifts ever! I wanna thank everyone that came or sent a gift, I really appreciate it. Now I actually feel prepared to bring home a baby! I wish I had some pictures to post, but of course i forgot to get my camera out. But all the outfits, blankets, jewelery, and toys are really making me excited to play dress up and to take alot of pictures.

I got to hang out with all my family over the weekend. My sister, Amber came down from Wyoming. It was a lot of fun to see and hang out with everyone.

Poker Night

This was the Big Gamers table. Everyone who won the first round
moved on to this table to play for the pot of moneySanchez, the guy in the orange ended up winning the pot. I think
there was about $26.00 in the pot.

My sister, Samantha and her older boy Memphis getting ready
to cut the awesome poker cake!

Samantha and her two cute boys, Jacoby and Memphis

Isn't that the coolest cake ever! I think Sam's sister-in-law
made it for her.

My dad in his goofy gambling outfit. He reminds me of
those old guy that just plays the slots all night.

It was my sisters birthday on the June 30th but her husband planned a surprise birthday party for her on July 6th. It was alot of fun. The theme was Poker Night and we were suposed to dress up like people you might see playing poker in Vegas. Personally i thought my dad was the bessed dressed. but there were a couple really good outfits.
This was actually the first time i've ever played poker and i really had alot of fun, even though i sucked really bad. or at least i didnt have the best luck with my cards. I hope my sister had a good birthday. They always know how to throw a good party. Now i want a poker party for my 21st birthday.

We're Having a Girl!

I know i said i was going to wait to find out what we were having but we couldnt do it. We found out last Friday and it was the coolest experience ever! I'm 19 weeks along but i still cant feel her move yet, but it was so cool watching he move inside me. There was even one point in the ultrasound when we saw her punching me. Seriously, for like a minute straight she was just punching. it was funny. I left the cd of pictures at my parents house but as soon as i get them back i'll post them for everyone to see. I need to start blogging more often.
